Sangha Night
Sangha Night is every Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, with programs that rotate through the month (see below). Anyone who has been to Beginners’ Orientation Night (second Wednesday of each month) or a Meditation Class at the center is invited to come to Sangha Night, where we explore different topics and their connection to life and practice.
Beginners’ Orientation Night
First Wednesday of each month, 7:00 - 9:00 pm.
Open to everyone
Led by Tom Allyn
This monthly class orients newcomers to the Rocky Mountain Buddhist Center activities and provides basic instruction on meditation and Buddhism. This is a good night for both beginners and those who want to reconnect to the basics.
Meditation and Dharma Study
Second Wednesday of each month, 7:00 - 9:00 pm.
Open to those who have attended Beginners’ Orientation Night or a Meditation Class
Led by Satyaloka
After a period of meditation, Satyaloka will lead a Dharma discussion. Learn about the Dharma and how it applies to our practice and our lives. No pre-reading is necessary.

Mindfulness Meditation Retreat
July 30 - August 2, 2010
Seeley Lake, MT
The Rocky Mountain Buddhist Center will be offering a weekend retreat with a focus on mindfulness meditation, starting Friday, July 30, 2010 at 7:00 pm and ending Monday, August 2 at 12 noon in the Seeley Lake area. The retreat will be led by Suvarnaprahba, a Triratna order member from the San Francisco Buddhist Center. Suvarnaprahba is currently the Creative Director of the SF Buddhist Center. In addition she conducts mindfulness workshops in the San Francisco area. She is an experienced meditator, retreat leader, and writer. She has been an order member of the Triratna order since 2001. More information about the retreat will be forthcoming as the date approaches. The retreat is open to anyone who has had basic instruction in the two foundational practices of the Triratna order, the Mindfulness of Breathing and the Metta Bhavana.
